Yes! Rotary Reads

Kittery Reads Program
 
 
We continued our literacy initiatives by supporting Rotary District 7780's project to promote literacy - YES! Rotary Reads, begun in 2015 by then District Governor Marge Barker.  York Hospital in Kittery graciously provided space for local children and parents to have access to our books.  The books were generously donated by the Clubs of Rotary District 7780, Volunteers of America, and individual donors.  Until suspended due to COVID restrictions, our project provided local children with over twelve hundred free books.
